Together with partners and funders, we’ve helped create or preserve 26,352 affordable homes for families by leveraging over $2.7 billion in capital across the region.

Some of our key programs include:

  • Midwest Asset Management University: Training and capacity-building resources for affordable housing owner-operators seeking to strengthen the operating and financial health of their portfolios.
  • Equitable Path Forward: A five-year, $3.5 billion nationwide initiative to help disadvantaged developers gain access to capital and resources.
  • Fifth Third Neighborhood Program: Promotes equitable growth and economic mobility in South Chicago in collaboration with local organizations.
  • Affordable Housing Decarbonization Hub: Connects multifamily portfolio owners to resources that support energy efficiency projects through an online platform.
  • Chicago Flats Initiative: Advocates for the preservation of Chicago’s two- to four-flat buildings to provide affordable rental and homeownership opportunities.
  • Elevated Chicago: Collaborates across sectors to promote equitable transit-oriented development of public spaces, buildings and vacant land.

Funder Spotlight
JPMorganChase

It's time to invest in housing providers who are deeply engaged in their own communities. Enterprise's Midwest Asset Management University (AMU) is a cohort-based, five-month training series designed for affordable housing developers, owner-operators, and housing providers. Our current cohort is supported by a grant from JPMorganChase. This generous grant supports asset management training, expert-led workshops, and technical assistance for developers from across the Midwest region.
