Enterprise began working in the Gulf Coast shortly after the 2005 hurricanes and resulting flooding devastated the region. Together with partners and funders, we’ve helped create or preserve over 100,000 affordable homes for families by leveraging over $6.5 billion in capital.

Some of our key programs include:

  • Equitable Path Forward: Supports an improved and more inclusive infrastructure and production system for affordable homes through new capital, housing policies and resources and support to developers and organizations
  • Strong Neighborhoods: Promotes policies and programs that support stable housing, reduce displacement and evictions and close the racial wealth gap
  • Resilient communities and resident success: Demonstrates energy-efficient, resilient, mixed-income homes through the redevelopment of the former Lafitte public housing and provides access to high quality services and resources for residents

A Place to Call Home

Grove Place in Hollygrove
Enterprise joined New Orleans Restoration Properties (NORP), city officials, and community leaders in celebrating the completion of Grove Place phase one, which brings 32 affordable homes to the Hollygrove neighborhood. We proudly provided a housing equity investment as well as supplementary financing through our Equitable Path Forward Initiative. We are excited to be partnering with NORP in Grove Place phase two.
