Enterprise began working in the Gulf Coast shortly after the 2005 hurricanes and resulting flooding devastated the region.
Some of our key programs include:
- Equitable Path Forward: A five-year, $3.5 billion nationwide initiative to help disadvantaged developers gain access to capital and resources
- Strong Neighborhoods: Promotes policies and programs that support stable housing, reduce displacement and evictions and close the racial wealth gap
- Resilient communities and resident success: Demonstrates energy-efficient, resilient, mixed-income homes through the redevelopment of the former Lafitte public housing and provides access to high quality services and resources for residents
- Rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina: Over the twenty years after Hurricane Katrina, community leaders, residents, and local partners have worked tirelessly to restore the region. Enterprise is honored to stand beside them and help restore a place so many proudly call home.
