Enterprise, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced plans to publish the seminal text on community development and climate change, What’s Possible: Investing NOW for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods.

Enterprise spoke with St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Executive Director Mike Mies to dig deeper into their work. Most recently, the organization participated in Enterprise’s Faith-Based Development Initiative in the Southeast, receiving training, technical assistance, and funding to support affordable housing development.

Enterprise has closed on financing for Edgewood Commons V, consisting of nearly 800 affordable homes and part of the larger Edgewood Commons campus located in Northeast Washington, D.C.

Enterprise convened its Central Midwest Equitable Path Forward (EPF) cohort in Chicago, where they heard from developers, consultants, funders, and other subject-matter experts on strategies to advance environmentally sustainable and healthy homes.

Enterprise has prepared an application for funding in response to HUD’s Notice of Funding Opportunity, Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Competition and will be hosting a public hearing and comment period.
