Lindsay Nieman
Lindsay Nieman is the senior manager of capital communications at Enterprise Community Partners. She works with leaders across Enterprise’s housing credit investments, preservation equity, and New Markets Tax Credit businesses; Enterprise Community Loan Fund, the organization’s community development financial institution; and the Equitable Path Forward program to translate complex capital tools, strategies, and outcomes into human‑centered stories that demonstrate how mission‑driven investing benefits communities nationwide.
Lindsay joined Enterprise in 2023 with a technical and editorial background in housing and urban planning communications. She began her career at an architectural and engineering consulting firm, creating construction monitoring reports for affordable housing developments, including projects financed by Enterprise. From there, she spent more than six years at the American Planning Association, the national nonprofit members association for urban planners. As editor of Planning magazine and the association’s podcast, she told award‑winning stories on topics like housing affordability and land use reform, examining the real-world implications of policy, design, and investment.
Lindsay earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature and a minor in global media studies from the University of Michigan.
