Laura Bailey is senior vice president of community finance and community affairs at Capital One, leading the company’s lending and investing for affordable housing development. Under her leadership, originations have reached $1.5 billion in the last year. Before joining Capital One, Laura’s experience included serving as regional executive in community development banking at Bank of America and as vice president at JPMorgan Chase.
Laura is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Affordable Housing Council and a board member of Houston ULI. She currently serves on the board of AHIC, the national organization for investors in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. She earned concurrent degrees in finance from the Wharton School and in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
