Baltimore, MD – Enterprise Community Development today announced the appointment of Laura Green Zeilinger as Senior Vice President of Community Impact & Resident Services, following a year of leadership in the interim role.

Zeilinger brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of housing, human services, public policy and systems change. Before joining Enterprise, she served as director of the District of Columbia Department of Human Services and executive director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.

In this position, Zeilinger will oversee implementation of Enterprise Community Development’s resident-driven five-year strategic plan for Resident Services. She will also help lead key components of Enterprise’s national strategy, ensuring that resident voices, community impact and lessons from frontline teams inform the organization’s broader work.

Over the past year, Zeilinger has guided the Resident Services team through a period of transition, strengthened business operations and team alignment, and advanced a strategy centered on the priorities and experiences of residents. Her leadership has also helped position Enterprise Community Development as an innovation and learning platform for resident services across Enterprise.

The appointment comes as Enterprise Community Development works to deepen the connection between housing and resident wellbeing across its portfolio. Through resident services, community partnerships and direct engagement, the organization aims to create communities where residents have greater access to the resources, opportunities and support they need to thrive.
