New York, NY, November 5, 2025 – Enterprise Community Partners issued the following statement today commending the passage in New York City of four housing-focused ballot proposals on Election Day:
“Affordable housing was a winner in last night’s election, as voters resoundingly approved four ballot measures that will reduce roadblocks, speed development and bring down costs for the type of housing that our communities need the most. Ballot measures 2-5 will directly lead to more affordable housing in more neighborhoods across the city and we applaud their passage. These results demonstrate that there is a mandate for affordable housing and communities are eager to embrace creative solutions to achieve that goal.”
