Green Communities is soliciting proposals for the development and delivery of relevant tools for affordable housing stakeholders pursuing principles included in the 2026 Green Communities Criteria (hereinafter “Criteria). Our objective is to develop useful aids that will drive affordable housing developers to finance, design, develop, construct, retrofit and maintain high performing green housing through effective, practical, best practice strategies. Applicants may respond to one or several of the deliverables listed in the RFP. Note that awards will be made separately for each area. Preference will be given to quality of each individual tool response rather than in relation to the ability of an applicant to carry out more than one deliverable.
Important Dates:
- Applications are open from October 27, 2025 to November 21, 2025.
- Questions should be submitted no later than Friday, November 7th (More information in Section X of RFP)
- Answers to Questions posted November 14, 2025 - Review the questions and answers
- Decisions will be made by December 15th.
- Period of Performance is estimated to start by January 15th and not extend past June 2026.
