As senior director of Technical and Development Accounting, Candida Felix leads the team responsible for overseeing the collection and review of critical financial reports and documents for all lower-tier deals in the construction phase through the first year of credits to ensure tax credit benefits are maximized.

Candida and her team conduct reviews of the cost certifications, 8609s, audits and tax returns during the pre-stabilization period and assist with resolving tax credit issues and providing technical guidance throughout the compliance period for all lower-tier deals.

Candida joined Enterprise in April 2007 as a regional accounting manager for the Mid-Atlantic region and was promoted to a senior technical manager, assuming responsibility for the technical accounting management team before being promoted to director in 2015.

Prior to her employment with Enterprise, she worked for a mid-sized regional public accounting firm in Baltimore and has more than 18 years of accounting experience, with the last seven years spent in the LIHTC market.

Candida is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Master in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
