This prestigious award acknowledges women leaders who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the housing and real estate sectors and paved the way for meaningful progress
Bethesda, MD (July 1, 2025) – Janine Lind, president of Enterprise Community Development at Enterprise Community Partners, has been named a HousingWire’s 2025 Women of Influence honoree. Now in its 16th year, the award recognizes leaders across mortgage, real estate, and fintech who are driving measurable impact within their organizations and across the broader housing industry.
Winners were selected by HousingWire’s editorial team, alongside a panel of industry experts, based on their professional achievements, contributions to the field, community engagement, and overall impact. The 2025 list reflects the depth, talent, and diversity of leadership driving the housing industry forward.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive this recognition from HousingWire and to be included among such inspiring women shaping the future of housing,” said Janine Lind, president of Enterprise Community Development. “This award is a reflection of the incredible work of our entire Enterprise team and our partners who share a deep commitment to expanding access to affordable, sustainable housing. Together, we’re not just building homes; we’re building pathways to opportunity for communities that need it most.”
Under Lind’s leadership, Enterprise Community Development (ECD), the largest affordable housing developer in the Mid-Atlantic, has become a national model for community-focused development. From adaptive reuse and mixed-income projects to clean energy integration and resident-centered services, Janine drives forward creative, scalable solutions to expand and preserve affordable housing.
Over the past year, Lind has guided ECD through rapid growth during a time of heightened housing need and economic uncertainty. She has doubled down on her commitment to delivering quality housing, advancing capital innovation, strengthening public-private partnerships, and supporting Enterprise’s vast network of affordable housing partners towards long-term sustainability.
Lind’s recognition as one of HousingWire’s Women of Influence is a testament to her values-driven leadership and powerful impact on the future of affordable housing, setting a new standard for innovation across the sector.
