Approach

We have been transforming communities for more than 30 years. We work long term with local stakeholders to reinvest in, rebuild and transform communities that are challenged by a shortage of affordable homes connected to good schools, jobs, transportation and healthcare.

We use New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to help finance environmentally-sustainable projects that bring essential goods and services to the same communities where Enterprise creates affordable homes. Our NMTC investments provide measurable community impact, including: health care centers, below-market office space for nonprofits, workforce training programs, healthy food production facilities and workforce housing for teachers.
