Enterprise has released a new report showing the impact of long lease-up times on affordable housing in New York. We find that it takes over 14 months to lease-up a new affordable housing building, with timeframes and delays well beyond the national average. We highlight recommendations to speed up move ins to benefit New Yorkers in need of a home, and struggling owners of affordable housing.
