In February 2020, Enterprise’s Northern California team welcomed Andrea Papanastassiou as director with the conventional equity team. Her role is to help grow the conventional equity business through the management and creation of thematic investment funds, with a focus on the existing Housing for Health Fund and the creation of other Northern California focused investment funds.

Papanastassiou brings 25 years of affordable housing, nonprofit advisory and government experience to Enterprise. Prior to joining the team, she was the deputy director of consulting at community vision, where she was engaged with real estate consulting, New Markets Tax Credit consulting and nonprofit advisory work. She has previously held positions in affordable housing development and acquisitions at Eden Housing and MidPen Housing, and in government at the City of Oakland.

In her new role, Papanastassiou will focus on deploying the remaining capital available through and scaling the Housing for Health Fund, which focuses on preserving affordable housing in Northern California in a health-conscious way. She will also have responsibility for identifying and creating similar funds to support the creation and preservation of affordable housing in the region.
