Alex Sizemore

Policy Research Director

Alex Sizemore is Director of Policy Research at Enterprise Community Partners, where she leads research on homelessness, rental assistance, housing stability, and community resiliency. Alex specializes in mixed-methods research and community-engaged research methods that center the experiences of communities most impacted by housing instability.

Before joining Enterprise, Alex was a doctoral research fellow at RAND, leading research on housing, homelessness, behavioral health care, and criminal legal system reform. Her published work includes “Living Wages in Los Angeles County's Homeless Response Sector,” “An Evaluation of Crime-Free Housing Ordinances," and “Barriers Faced by People Experiencing Homelessness in Los Angeles When Filing Social Security Disability Appeals."

Earlier in her career, Alex managed the Flexible Housing Subsidy Pool in Los Angeles as a program manager at Brilliant Corners, overseeing project-based and tenant-based housing subsidy programs, including Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing initiatives. In this role, she supported individuals exiting homelessness, including people impacted by the criminal legal system, veterans, older adults, and families.

Alex is a doctoral candidate in policy analysis at the RAND Graduate School. She holds a Master of Philosophy in policy analysis from the RAND Graduate School, a Master of Planning from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
