JPMorgan Chase & Co.
With over 11 million low-income households paying more than half of their income toward rent, and with affordable housing needs growing at a rate that far outpaces available resources, we need innovative solutions. These solutions can be localized to address a problem in a single community or delivered a larger scale through changes in policies or resource allocation at the state or national level.
Thanks to longtime supporter JPMorgan Chase & Co., Enterprise is developing collaborative solutions with the help of local partners in communities across the country and scaling the most effective ones more broadly through advocacy and peer sharing.
Localized efforts are underway in Atlanta, the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. From helping houses of worship turn unused land into affordable homes to help their communities, to guiding redevelopment near transit hubs to ensure better access to opportunities for working families, to incorporating early learning centers into new affordable development projects, our programs are ultimately working toward the same aim – to provide safe, affordable homes in thriving communities so struggling families can stabilize and improve their lives.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has partnered with Enterprise for more than three decades, providing both philanthropic and investment resources that have helped build or preserve more than 85,000 well-designed, affordable homes and helped create vibrant communities across the country, especially in low-income areas where greater opportunity for residents is most needed.
