Bank of America
The need among low-income communities for housing stability, resilient housing and access to opportunity has never been greater. The traditional affordable housing sector and local, state and federal housing programs are not keeping pace with increasing demand and the effects of changes to our climate.
For more than 35 years, Bank of America and its charitable foundation have been partnering with Enterprise to address the many housing and systemic issues facing low-income communities at the national level and in markets across the country. Thanks to their recent generous contribution, we are deepening efforts to create housing stability and foster resilience by:
- Advocating for new and better local, state and federal funding streams, regulations and laws that will in turn increase the supply and availability of affordable housing.
- Building the capacity of community development organizations and local governments to increase the quantity and quality of resilient housing production and preservation.
Over our decades-long partnership, in addition to supporting policy advocacy efforts and building the capacity of the sector through grants, loans and equity, Bank of America has created and preserved tens of thousands of well-designed, affordable homes in areas where there is a significant need for affordable and stable housing.
We are grateful for Bank of America’s support and enduring commitment to serving communities in need.
