Liz Johnson

VP, Business Systems and Strategy

Liz Johnson is vice president of Business Systems and Strategy for the Solutions division at Enterprise Community Partners, where she leads the strategic and operational infrastructure that enables the division’s program delivery, grantmaking and compliance work. In this role she oversees the division’s data strategy, systems implementation, process improvement and cross-functional partnerships that translate organizational priorities into measurable impact.

Prior to joining Enterprise, Liz spent 18 years at Capital One in progressively senior leadership roles. She began her tenure leading international tax strategy as Director of International tax, before transitioning into the company’s External Affairs function where she ultimately served as Vice President of Operations for the Capital One Foundation. In that capacity, she led governance, grantmaking and program development for a $10M racial equity strategy, served as national lead for Voices, Capital One’s Black associate resource group and drove ESG reporting and associate engagement strategies at enterprise scale.

Liz holds a master of business administration from University of Dayton and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University. She served as board chair of The Jackson Ward Collective Foundation from 2021-2025 and currently serves as its board treasurer. The JWC Foundation is dedicated to advancing Black entrepreneurship and economic equity.
