Lauren Hornett
Lauren is the director of programs for the Rocky Mountain Market at Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, she is responsible for designing and managing the program elements to be delivered across the region, managing events, and trainings and technical assistance, as well as all fundraising and budgeting for related activities. Lauren also provides capacity building resources for the development and preservation of affordable housing, delivering training to nonprofit organizations, government entities, local communities, and other key stakeholders and partners.
Before joining Enterprise in February 2026, Lauren led the Community Relations efforts for the Wells Fargo Foundation across many states in the West, including Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and New Mexico. She led the philanthropic and community engagement work across urban, rural, resort, and Native communities in all five states, with particular focus in affordable housing, small business growth, financial inclusion, and sustainable communities.
Lauren has over 20 years of experience in the field, spending the last 15 years in Colorado and the West leading social impact initiatives and working across a variety of initiatives including historic preservation, community development, and affordable housing. Her experience has spanned from operations, fundraising and development to grantmaking and employee engagement, and she has deep experience in stakeholder and community engagement.
She has held many volunteer positions over the years, including Enterprise’s Colorado Housing Leadership Council, the Colorado Afterschool Partnership, Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN), Utah Council on Financial and Economic Education, BankOn New Mexico, Asset Funders Network, Idaho Funders for Affordable Housing, as well as board positions with Mile High Connects, SPARK the Change Colorado, and currently as vice president for Community Resources and Housing Development Corporation.
Lauren has a master’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and a bachelor’s degree in ecology, evolution and organism biology from Vanderbilt University.
