Katie Porter

Katie Porter is an originations director at Enterprise Housing Credit Investments. She is responsible for originating Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions in Washington, D.C.; Maryland; North Carolina; South Carolina; and Virginia. In this role, she collaborates with developers to structure deals yielding maximum proceeds for the transaction. She regularly works with Enterprise’s broad range of affordable housing and community development tools, including Enterprise Community Loan Fund, grants, and technical assistance.

Katie has 16-plus years of experience in affordable housing and real estate development. While at Enterprise, she has underwritten or originated more than $500 million in equity investments to create more than 3,600 homes. Prior to Enterprise, she held director and management positions for an affordable housing developer in Seattle, Washington.

She holds a master’s degree from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.
