New York City
Home » Local Work » New York City : Introduction

Having a home is the crucial first step for people to move up and out of poverty. Yet for many low-income people in New York City, one of the most expensive housing markets in the country, finding an affordable place to live is an unattainable dream.

Enterprise is New York City's leading nonprofit provider of affordable housing for low-income residents. Working with a network of more than 100 partners, we develop and finance affordable homes to help low-income people improve their lives, as well as the life of their communities. Download our 06 Annual Update (PDF, 1MB) or 05 Annual Report (PDF 1.2 MB) to learn more about the many partners that support our work in New York.
