volunteer sample 2

While the majority of Enterprise Community Development’s (ECD) volunteer base are residents serving in their own communities, we offer a variety of ways for individuals and groups to be engaged in service to help communities grow and thrive. Our areas of focus include food security, event planning and support, youth education programs, health and wellness, and community development initiatives.

  • Individual, Ongoing  - event planners, class instructors, youth mentors and tutors, summer camp assistants, food bank volunteers, and career coaches.
  • Group or Event based - KaBOOM! Playground builds, Casey Trees plantings or Capital Area Food Bank garden plantings, community clean ups, garden events, etc.
  • Professional -Copy Editors, Photographers, Marketing staff, etc.
  • Service Members & Interns - Public Allies AmeriCorps Members, Urban Alliance Fellows, ServiceWorks VISTA Members (working with youth in after-school programs or employability training programs), Social Work students (serving in Senior Communities), and Urban Planning students (serving in Real Estate Development.)
