"As Nashville grows, it’s increasingly important to build relationships with residents and to ensure their voices are heard, while balancing short-term initiatives and long-term investments. I hope to facilitate those conversations within the UHS team and with the public, and infuse the development process with added creativity, efficiency, and sustainability."
With Urban Housing Solutions in Nashville, Kelsey will help develop more than 20 acres of vacant land into affordable housing. She aims to include local voices in the design process, and hopes the development will promote walkability, health, safety and accessibility.
Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. She holds numerous awards and recognition, including the AIA Virginia Emerging Leaders in Architecture and the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal for Outstanding Leadership, May 2014.
