"I am passionate about the chance to contribute to the community engagement conversation centered around public health, affordable housing, and community building. I hope through my fellowship I will help bring design thinking into the community engagement process."
With Community Works and Unity Properties, Daniel will help improve development capacity of Bon Secours by designing housing typologies that respond to the needs of residents and by focusing on how social determinants of health can be addressed through design and direct service delivery.
Prior to the Fellowship, Daniel was a Designer and Planner at Ayers Saint Gross where he focused on integrating impactful urban design and architectural solutions into the planning process. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida, a Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Landscape Studies also from the University of Pennsylvania.
