“Bringing people together to work on a shared cause maximizes our capabilities to improve communities.”
Through the Rose Fellowship, Chau looks forward to expanding Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS)’s engagement process to create holistic design outcomes that integrate and empower the community. As the Real Estate Development Project Manager, Chau will help implement a comprehensive development strategy that balances affordable housing financing requirements, innovative & sustainable design, and community engagement practices.
Prior to the fellowship, Chau worked as an architect in DC, specializing in residential and mixed-use developments. During her spare time, she volunteered as the Director of Projects for Open Architecture Collaborative-DC, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help communities through socially responsible and sustainable design. Chau holds a dual master’s in Architecture and Real Estate Development, and hopes to incorporate her knowledge to support public-interest and community development projects.
