Summary
Data in this infographic illustrate the impact of Enterprise’s recovery and rebuilding efforts two years after Hurricane Sandy.
Description

The devastation unleashed by Hurricane Sandy was a stark reminder of the importance of having a safe place to call home. Enterprise provided a wide range of assistance to the communities hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. Data in this infographic illustrate the impact of Enterprise’s recovery and rebuilding efforts two years after the storm. For example, we provided $240,000 in emergency funding and close to $1 million in long-term recovery and planning funding to 17 affordable housing organizations in New Jersey and New York. We also helped create a Sandy Neighborhood Design Helpdesk that assisted 321 property owners, and hosted a design competition to promote storm-resilient planning and structures.
