Section 4 Recipient Spotlight: Hancock Resource Center (Mississippi)
Proven and effective, Section 4 – officially, the federal Section 4 Capacity Building for Community Development and Affordable Housing Program – strengthens local organizations across the country. Through its annual grants, the program helps organizations find new solutions to create affordable homes and healthy neighborhoods for families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities and other low-income people.
Together with our local partners, Enterprise is multiplying the impact of local affordable housing development and helping families succeed. This case study documents how Hancock Resource Center used a Section 4 grant from Enterprise to help low-income and vulnerable people in Mississippi maintain and improve their homes, reduce home energy costs, and put a disaster plan in place
