Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Curriculum: Video

The Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Curriculum is an educational resource for public housing residents and communities who are undergoing a RAD conversion. The curriculum informs residents on what they can expect in going through a RAD conversion process

Enterprise supported Red Hook Initiative and resident leaders from the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to create a new video about the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, a federal program to fund repairs in public housing. In New York City, 15,000 public housing apartments are expected to be part of the RAD process, and this video made by residents, for residents, is to inform and empower communities that will be affected. The video was produced by young adults living in NYCHA properties that participate in Red Hook Initiative’s Digital Stewards program, a nonprofit that provides technology training and career development.
