Measuring Health Outcomes: Success Measures Evaluation Tools for Community Development and Health
While it is increasingly clear that housing affects health, there remains much to learn about which policies and practices have impact, and in what ways. Better data collection is vital to building the body of evidence needed to develop, share and tailor interventions.
Developed by Success Measures, an evaluation resource group at NeighborWorks America, this new resource offers data collection tools that improve understanding of ways to address the social determinants of health. A national initiative, jointly designed and implemented by NeighborWorks America and Enterprise Community Partners, used the new tools to help demonstrate and document health outcomes in low- and moderate- income communities.
