The 2012 Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute Report

The 2012 Institute convened at the Parsons the New School for Design New York July 17-19. The Institute explored a new approach to housing development in which housing operates as the platform for success that links to a network of systemic resources, including health care, education, social and cultural assets, transportation, employment and the environment. The over the course of two-and-a-half days, participants discussed this concept of opportunity and how to design, develop and implement projects that will allow individuals and families to thrive.
