COLUMBIA, Md. (January 26, 2021) – Enterprise Community Partners (Enterprise) announced today the promotion of David Edwards to chief information officer. In this role, Edwards will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of the information technology backbone for Enterprise, as well as the optimization of Enterprise’s business operations platforms, back-office solutions and core technology infrastructure.

Edwards will remain at Enterprise’s headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, where he previously served as vice president, IT Infrastructure. He will report to Drew Warshaw, Enterprise’s chief operating officer.

“David brings plenty of technical experience to this role, but that’s ultimately a commodity. Where David stands apart is he’s a partner in the truest sense of the word,” said Warshaw. “It is that spirit that will help us drive the continued integration of Enterprise’s end-to-end platform and with it the impact we’re after.”

Edwards joined Enterprise in July 2019 and helped oversee key technology updates at Enterprise, including a company-wide conversion to Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which enabled a seamless transition to remote work. He also led the assessment and upgrade of all office internet connections that will enhance Enterprise’s in-office experience upon return.

“In a time of tremendous change in how and where we work, I am committed to providing technology solutions that will ensure that Enterprise delivers on its powerful mission,” said Edwards. “Job number one is to implement integrated systems across all Enterprise divisions that support our employees, stakeholders and new Strategic Plan.”

Prior to joining Enterprise, Edwards served as vice president of corporate systems and support for Comscore, Inc., where he brought together four globally diverse technology teams to help relocate their flagship product to the cloud.

Edwards holds a bachelor’s degree in computer technology from Bowie State University and an M.B.A from Strayer University.
