Terri Ludwig’s Departure at Year-End

COLUMBIA, Md. (October 16, 2018) - Enterprise Community Partners is both proud and saddened to announce that CEO Terri Ludwig has accepted the opportunity to become Ballmer Group’s president of Philanthropy. She will be leaving Enterprise on December 31, and the Board will immediately initiate a national search for Terri’s successor.

Following Terri’s departure and until a successor is identified, Laurel Blatchford will assume leadership responsibilities of Enterprise Community Partners and Charlie Werhane will continue to lead Enterprise Community Investment. Both will report to me. Together, Charlie and Laurel, through collaborative leadership, will represent the many strengths of Enterprise. The deep talent within Enterprise is one of its greatest assets, and the organization’s work will continue on behalf of the families and other stakeholders who count on us.

Since becoming head of Enterprise in September 2010, Terri has made extraordinary contributions to our organization, to the field of affordable housing and community development, and to low-income people across the country. Terri’s legacy is a stronger Enterprise, one that is uniquely situated to improve communities and people’s lives by making well-designed homes affordable.

We will miss Terri and her visionary leadership, and we are excited that she will be moving to an organization with a mission focused on economic mobility. We wish Terri every success.
