Enterprise Congratulates London Breed on Her Historic Election as Mayor of San Francisco!

London Breed will be the first African-American woman elected to lead San Francisco. The results of the June 5 election were announced on June 13. Breed will serve out the late Mayor Ed Lee's term, which ends in January 2020.
Breed has spoken about the importance of creating a city that is affordable to everyone. "Housing insecurity isn't just an abstract point of policy for me," wrote Breed. "I've lived it." Born in San Francisco, Breed grew up in the Plaza East public housing in the Western Addition neighborhood. Breed went on to a career in public service, most recently serving as president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
Enterprise congratulates Breed on her election, and we look forward to working in partnership with Breed as Mayor to advance our shared goal of ensuring everyone in San Francisco lives in a quality home that is affordable and connected to opportunity.
