Ashley Johnson-Hare Joins Enterprise's Mid-Atlantic Market Team
Johnson-Hare to lead the Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation Initiative (NEAT) in Baltimore
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 14, 2019) – Enterprise welcomes Ashley Johnson-Hare as senior program director in the Mid-Atlantic market, where she will lead the Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation Initiative (NEAT) in Baltimore. Johnson-Hare has spent her 12-year career ensuring affordable housing operates efficiently while providing high-quality rental and homeownership opportunities through state and local government work.
Johnson-Hare most recently served as deputy manager of D.C.’s Department of Housing and Community Development Portfolio and Asset Management Division, managing the DHCD’s 30,000-unit portfolio and 10,000 loans for single and multifamily housing.
While community development manager for the city of Takoma Park, Maryland, she led rent stabilization, tenant-landlord services and code enforcement efforts. Ashley served at the Maryland DHCD as portfolio administrator overseeing 33,000 units of rental housing.
She has also worked at the Maryland Department of Disabilities for its $10.9 million housing efforts for persons with disabilities, and at the Housing Authority of Baltimore City administering housing programming for 10,000 families.
Johnson-Hare is a former Baltimore City Mayoral Fellow and a Baltimore native, and a graduate of the University of Chicago.
