National Center for Smart Growth Evaluates Baltimore’s Progress toward Building an Equitable Region

The Baltimore region was awarded a $3.5 million Sustainable Communities Initiative (SCI) planning grant in 2011. Enterprise and the National Center for Smart Growth at the University of Maryland were members of the Baltimore region’s grant planning body, the Opportunity Collaborative.

Profiles in Recovery and Rebuilding: Centro Campesino Farmworker Center, Inc.

In 2017 Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria wrought destruction across communities from the Gulf Coast to Puerto Rico, disrupting lives and destroying homes. As part of our recovery and rebuilding work, Enterprise created the Enterprise Hurricane Community Recovery Fund to support short-term relief and longer-term efforts in the most heavily damaged areas.

Investment to Preserve More than 160 Affordable Homes in Washington

Enterprise has invested more than $4 million in private equity along with $3.9 million in debt financing from the Enterprise Community Loan Fund while partnering with Shelter Resources, Inc. (SRI), to preserve 164 affordable homes in Lacey, Washington.
