Eden Housing recently celebrated the Grand Opening of Pauline Weaver Senior Apartments in Fremont, CA. This beautiful new development provides 90 homes for seniors in a single 4-story building using a unique 4%/9% tax credit financing structure.  Thirty of the apartments will offer Section 8 vouchers provided by The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda.

The residents can enjoy the luxuries of a shared common area, including a library, technology center, a courtyard with a BBQ area and community garden, and 86 parking spaces; which will include 8 wheelchair accessible spaces as well as 4 electric charging stations. The property is located in the Southern part of Fremont, in a neighborhood called Mission Falls, which offers easy commutes to Silicon Valley or San Jose.

Residents can access public transportation easily with a bus stop one block from the development and the new Warm Springs BART light rail only 1 mile away. Access to this transportation will allow for convenient travel to the nearby retail shops, pharmacies, restaurants and grocery stores.
