Celebrating the Grand Opening of Bell Oasis in Bell, California
Congratulations go to The Salvation Army Golden State Division on the grand opening of Bell Oasis in Bell, California! This community provides 65 affordable homes for mentally ill veterans and the homeless. In addition to exercise and supportive spaces, mental and physical health services, educational activities, access to employment opportunities, financial training and social events will be provided through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will also provide food and clothing to any residents in need.
Construction Financing included $12 million from US Bank and $2.5 million from the Los Angeles Community Development Commission. Permanent Financing included $4.5 million from Housing and Community Development Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention Program, $2.57 million from Los Angeles Community Development Commission and $1.2 million from the California Housing Finance Agency Special Needs Housing Program. Enterprise was proud to provide $9.4 million of equity toward this impactful project.
