Enterprise Advisors: A Catalyst for Community Success
On Episode 7 of Building Blocks, I sat down with Patrick Jordan, Vice President of Enterprise Advisors, to discuss the incredible growth of our technical assistance and consulting work. Enterprise’s advisory services were originally born out of the housing and economic crisis in 2009-2010.
By 2012, Advisors had developed into a comprehensive public-sector practice, offering capacity building services to cities tackling their most complex community development challenges. In the following years, Enterprise Advisors expanded their framework from exclusively federal contracts to an increasingly diverse set of public and private partnerships that have elevated new ideas and standards for more equitable and inclusive communities.
To date, Advisors has supported over 500 communities and received more than $65 million in TA awards since 2010. A continuously evolving practice, the team has opened 40 new projects in 2018 alone with over $5.5 million in open and active engagements. Enterprise Advisors has solidified their place as an industry leader in technical assistance through cross-disciplinary initiatives like disaster recovery and resilience, the National Resource Network, and, most recently, Opportunity Zones.
Tune in to learn more about how the Enterprise Advisors team is applying a community empowerment lens to these programs and identifying strategic opportunities for growth and impact.
