    • The City of Atlanta’s ATLStrong Fund has invested $250,000 into a rental assistance program for qualified renters earning up to 60% of the area median income (AMI). This program will be administered through the United Way of Greater Atlanta. You may visit the United Way site for additional guidance. The City of Atlanta press release providing details on the program and its funders is available here. (added 6/1/2020)
    • Enterprise Community Partners is working with lenders and at the state and federal level to advocate for the inclusion of critical affordable housing and community development language in any moving legislation.
    • The Enterprise resource page for our Covid-19 advocacy includes information on our appropriations and tax asks. These will be updated as we navigate through this fluid situation.

  • General Covid-19 response guidance for property managers/owners:

Workers, Local Economies + Small Businesses

What financial resources are currently available for workers?

What can we do to support community serving small businesses/nonprofits?

Philanthropy + Grant Deliverables

There are several articles from the Chronicle of Philanthropy that urge nonprofits to talk with your donors, supporters and funders during this time, offer guidance on how to communicate with them, and educate them on your current strategies, needs, and questions:

Can we shift our grant funds toward operations in this emergency? What do we do if we have grant deliverables that cannot be met?

Review your grant deliverables and assess your ability to meet them, and what adjustments you may need; Honestly assess if the best strategy is to repurpose the funds for direct response to Covid-19, and engage in a discussion with your funders.
