Children and families achieve better outcomes when the place they call home is well-designed and healthy, and connects them to their communities in thoughtful, intentional ways.

Thanks to support from William Penn Foundation, Enterprise’s first Rose Architectural Fellow based in Philadelphia is fostering collaborative, community-engaged design to improve the quality of housing, connections and community support.

Working with People's Emergency Center CDC, Rose Fellow Lea Oxenhandler offers her technical expertise and design talent in underserved communities of Philadelphia to improve the built environment, while also helping the organization increase its capacity to use best practices in sustainable design and development.
