Ed Brady is the president of Brady Homes Illinois, secretary/treasurer of Remax Choice in Bloomington, IL, and president of Legacy Homes, Inc. in Nashville, TN. He has served on the boards of the YMCA of Bloomington/Normal, the Economic Development Council of McLean County, McLean County Big Brothers Big Sisters and the McLean County Republican Party. He has also served on the Illinois state boards of Habitat for Humanity and the Chamber of Commerce. He worked as a special assistant to Congressman Jack Kemp (R-NY) during the 1986 Republican presidential primaries.
After serving for two years in Washington, D.C., Ed returned home to central Illinois and joined a long-standing family construction and development business.
During his career in housing, Ed has served as president of the Home Builders Association of Illinois (2001) and continues to serve on its board of directors. In 2005, he served as chairman of Build PAC, a political action committee supporting bipartisan, federally-elected friends of housing. He continues to serve as a trustee to Build PAC and also serves as a director for the National Association of Homebuilders. In 2009, Ed was elected as an independent director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, and is currently serving his third term. In 2013, he was elected third vice chairman of NAHB and served as chairman in 2016. In January of 2018 Ed was named CFO of Potomac International Partners in Washington D.C.; a full-service consulting, grass roots communications and lobby firm.
