As vice president, Cybersecurity, Craig is responsible for defining and executing a vision and strategy that ensures that Enterprise's information assets are protected against current and future threats. This includes not only cybersecurity but security awareness, threat response, data privacy, business continuity and disaster recovery/response.
Craig joined Enterprise Community Investment in 2011 as vice president, Network Engineering & IT Operations. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of all elements of Enterprise's national technology infrastructure, including network and systems engineering, site connectivity and IT Operations for the entire Enterprise family of companies.  
With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Craig has an extensive background in leading large-scale, complex software and network engineering projects. He has a strong multidisciplinary background in IT, previously holding senior technical and leadership positions in software development, network/systems engineering and project management. Before joining Enterprise in 2011, he was the senior director of systems/software engineering for a high-volume 24/7/365 e-commerce organization located in Joppa, Maryland.
Craig holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland as well as an MBA from the University of Baltimore. He is a member of numerous information security organizations including ISACA, the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 and has published several papers on statistics, intrusion detection and engineering as well as a U.S. patent in e-commerce fraud detection.
In addition to his work at Enterprise, Craig has served his community as a volunteer firefighter, fire officer and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since 1995 and is nationally certified as a Fire Officer III. His current focus is on delivering training programs on fireground, hydraulics and emergency vehicle operations. He has previously served on the board of directors of the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company and is currently a Lieutenant at the Fifth District Volunteer Fire Department in Howard County, Maryland.
