Andrew Johnston is senior vice president, Human Resources, at Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. He is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Human Resources function for all Enterprise entities, and provides consultation to senior staff with a focus on organizational alignment, change management and collaboration for organizational success. He also develops and implements strategies to ensure Enterprise remains competitive through effective talent management, compensation and benefits practices and creating a compelling “employee value proposition” that reflects the dynamic Enterprise culture and mission. Under Andrew’s leadership, the Human Resources team supports Enterprise’s overall mission and objectives by consistently delivering strategic business partnering and technical HR expertise. Andrew also provides leadership for mergers and acquisitions, the Enterprise Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, and oversight for the national facilities management function.
Andy has more than 18 years of human resources experience with expertise in HR operations, talent management and acquisition, executive coaching, and organizational development. Andy has served in leadership roles with for-profit and nonprofit organizations, working in health care, financial services, energy and manufacturing.
Andy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University and has executive coaching training through Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program. Andy is a session member and chair of the Personnel Committee at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, and volunteers with BUILD, a nonprofit organization that works to improve housing, increase job opportunities, and rebuild schools and neighborhoods in Baltimore.
