The lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community faces a unique set of challenges when dealing with homelessness and housing insecurity. LGBTQ populations represent a disproportionate percentage of the individuals who seek out homeless services. Despite recent initiatives to increase legal protections of LGBTQ individuals, adults often face discrimination when searching for housing.

In order to bring awareness to the housing inequalities still faced by many in the LGBTQ community, Enterprise has teamed up with Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE) to support their National Elder Housing Initiative.
