Briefly stated:

Our website and all of its components are intended to provide information to further the field of affordable housing.

We want this information to help create sustainable and affordable communities, but some of these resources belong to other organizations. If you want to share or reuse copy that belongs to someone else, you will need to contact that copyright owner to get permission. If the information belongs to Enterprise, we encourage you to share it freely. "Freely" being the key term. If you intend to earn a profit, then we need to talk. Our logo and all related marks, of course, may not be used or reproduced without our express permission. Contact us at mail@enterprisecommunity.org for permission.

If you're posting comments or information, please make sure they are respectful, appropriate and accurate. If we deem they are otherwise, we will remove the content. Finally, if we link to a web page or website, it is for information only and not an endorsement.

Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. ("Enterprise") is a national nonprofit organization that provides expertise for affordable housing and sustainable communities. We offer financing for affordable housing through our nonprofit, Enterprise Community Loan Fund, Inc. and through our for-profit subsidiary, Enterprise Community Investment, Inc.

Use of Enterprise Websites
You (a " Visitor") agree that your use of Enterprise websites (the "Sites") and sub domains will be governed by the following Conditions of Use Agreement (the "Agreement"). The purpose of these Sites is to provide information on the work of the Enterprise and the community development field. These Sites in no way should be construed as rendering any legal, accounting or any other project specific advice.
Enterprise Information Resources Information Resources and Tools are copyrighted by Enterprise or a Third Party Content provider. You are allowed to reprint documents so long as the reprints are not used commercially and as long as they include copyright information and list Enterprise as their source.

All documents copyrighted by Enterprise may be used or modified by an individual or a nonprofit organization for non-commercial use, as long as the adapted work clearly states it is from a work copyrighted by Enterprise. Documents copyrighted by third party content providers may not be modified or adapted unless the Third Party Content provider has given specific permission along with the copyright information on the document itself or unless the Visitor obtains specific permission from the third party copyright holder. For commercial use of any document, contact Enterprise at mail@enterprisecommunity.org.  

Visitor Posting Information and Linking to Websites
Any resource allowing Visitors to link to or post information are available for use so long as the content in the posting or linked website (1) is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and (2) does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam."

As a condition to linking to Enterprise's website or posting information, a Visitor will not to use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a comment or other content. Enterprise reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit content not in compliance.

Unless Enterprise indicates otherwise, the Visitor grants Enterprise and its subsidiaries and affiliates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. The Visitor also grants Enterprise and its affiliates and licensees the right to use the name that is submitted by Visitor in connection with such content.

The Visitor represents and warrants ownership or otherwise controls all of the rights to content posted; its accuracy; that use of the content supplied does not violate this Agreement and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that the Visitor will indemnify Enterprise, its employees, officers, trustees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates for all claims resulting from content that the Visitor supplies.

Enterprise has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. Enterprise takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by the Visitor or any third party.

Links to Web pages and Websites
Enterprise links within its websites and to third party sites Enterprise believes may be instructional for Visitors. Links or any references to other pages and sites do not constitute or imply endorsement, recommendation, or preference by Enterprise. Visitors understand that when a link is provided, Enterprise does not control, endorse, approve, or certify the content or warrant the offerings of those addresses. Nor does Enterprise assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, products, services or content of all these and any other third parties. Visitors understand if they use a link to third party site, they are no longer on our sites and subject to our policies. Any user of third party sites should carefully review those sites' privacy statements and other conditions of use.

Further, Enterprise, its employees, officers, trustees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates and Third Party Content providers assume no responsibility for, and expressly disclaim any liability resulting from the use of any information obtained at any linked third party sites. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims that may arise relating to: (1) content containing errors or omissions; (2) the accuracy or reasonableness of factual or scientific assumptions, studies or conclusions; (3) the potentially defamatory nature of any statements; (4) the implication of copyright and/or other intellectual property rights; and (5) the violation of property, privacy and/or personal rights of others.

Copyright Notice
Copyright of all contents on these sites is owned by Enterprise or by a Third Party Content provider who has given Enterprise permission to post their content. Content includes, but is not limited to all text, graphics, button icons, images, documents, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, third party content and resources.

Commercial use of any content on the site is strictly prohibited, unless prior permission is received from the copyright owner. Commercial use is any use for which a party other than the rightful copyright holder receives payment for content; including, but not limited to, the outright sale of the Site’s content, repackaging the Site’s Content in another medium for profit, use the Site’s content as part of a training seminar for profit, and the adaptation of the Site’s content for use as a paid consultant. The images of people or places displayed on these sites are either the property of or licensed to Enterprise. The unauthorized use of these images is prohibited.

Visitors shall not use any content in any manner not specifically permitted by this Agreement or without specific permission provided elsewhere on the sites. For uses not granted here, or for more information on using content not owned by Enterprise ("Third Party Content"), Visitors should request reprint information in the subject line and contact mail@enterprisecommunity.org.

Unless expressly provided in this Agreement, Visitors should not construe these  sites as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any copyrighted content on the sites without the written permission of Enterprise or any Third Party Content provider that may own copyrighted content on the site.

Trademark Notice
Enterprise, the House and Rays logo (reg no. 1666089), Green Communities logo (reg. no. 3356070), Enterprise product names, service names, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, and scripts and other trademarks, service marks or trade dress (together “Marks”) indicated on the Site are marks of Enterprise or its subsidiaries or affiliated organizations.

All other trademarks or service marks not owned by Enterprise or its subsidiaries or affiliated organizations that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Enterprise or its subsidiaries or affiliates.

Visitors shall not use Enterprise's Marks in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits or in connection with any product or service that is not authorized by Enterprise.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations of Liability
These Sites are provided by Enterprise on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. Enterprise, its employees, officers, trustees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates and Third Party Content providers assume no responsibility for, and expressly disclaim any liability resulting from, the use of any material contained on these Sites.

Enterprise makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the operation of these sites or the information, content, materials, or products included on these sites. The use of these Sites is at the Visitor's sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Enterprise disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Enterprise does not warrant that these Sites, its servers, or email sent from Enterprise are free of viruses or other harmful components. Enterprise will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

Certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights.

Choice of Law; Forum Selection
All applicable policies governing this website are construed and enforced in accordance with and shall be governed by, the laws of the State of Maryland, exclusive of its conflicts of law rules and federal law. Visitors agree that any suit, action or proceeding instituted with respect to any actions resulting from the use of this Site shall be brought in any state or federal court located in the State of Maryland and visitors consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Visitors irrevocably waive any objection to, and any right of immunity from, the jurisdiction of such courts or the execution of judgments resulting there from, on the grounds of venue or the convenience of the forum.

Severability
If any term in this Agreement is held to be inconsistent with any present or future law, ruling, rule or regulation of any court or authority having jurisdiction over the subject matter of this Agreement, such provision will be deemed to be rescinded or modified to the minimum extent necessary to comply with such law, ruling, rule or regulation, and the remainder of this Agreement will not be affected thereby.

Modification
Enterprise reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement at any time in its discretion. The terms of the Agreement in effect at the time of the Visitors’ use will be the operative terms governing the Visitor's use of this Site.
