The MetLife Foundation Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing was developed in 1996 by Enterprise to recognize the outstanding work of nonprofit organizations that are community-based or regional, and Tribes or Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs) in developing and effectively managing housing for low-income individuals and families. Competition is in two categories: supportive housing, and property and asset management. Each year, this program has recognized exceptional examples of innovative concepts in affordable housing. We invite you to delve into the details of the past winners and take away suggestions and ideas for your own work. The press releases summarize all winners and the case studies offer the details. Winners, you can download a MetLife Winner logo to use on your website or in publications.
