“Undesign the Redline,” an exhibit now open in Baltimore, details how discriminatory government policies and private business practices left marks on cities long after those actions had been outlawed. Its title comes from the illegal practice of redlining, restricting credit to a prospective homebuyer based on the demographics of the community into which the applicant wants to buy.
