Enterprise provides eligible employees with life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance. This insurance plan affords financial protection for employee's beneficiary(ies) by paying a benefit amount of 2 times the employee's basic annual earnings.
Enterprise provides eligible employees life and AD&D insurance up to $200,000 while traveling on company business.
Long -term disability insurance is intended to lessen the financial impact of a disability. It provides income to eligible employees who are absent for more than 180 days due to a non-occupational accident or illness. The plan provides 60% of an employee's base annual salary up to a maximum monthly benefit of $8,000. The benefit may be reduced by other sources of income and disability earnings. Enterprise pays the full cost of this coverage.
Enterprise provides eligible employees with short-term disability income protection for up to six months. This fully-funded benefit replaces lost income should an employee miss work for an extended period due to a non-occupational accident or sickness. STD benefits vary between 100% and 60% of pay depending on the employee's length of service.
GUL is portable life insurance protection provided through The Principal Life Insurance Company. An employee may purchase GUL coverage up to five times their annual earnings up to a maximum of $1,000,000. GUL coverage may also be purchased for spouses and dependent children.
All eligible employees may elect to immediately participate in the Enterprise 401(k) or 403(b) plan and save pre-tax dollars up to the maximum allowed by IRS ($15,500 for 2007). Enterprise matches 50% of the employee’s first 6% of contributions after one year of employment.
Enterprise also annually provides eligible employees a defined pension benefit of 3% of earnings up to the Social Security wage base and 6% of earnings above the Social Security wage base.
