The Face of Impact - Rand at CAMBA Gardens
When you invest in the Enterprise Community Impact Note, you are supporting the creation of vibrant and equitable communities where families have access to healthy, affordable homes connected to good schools, jobs, transit and health care services. This is your Social Return on Investment.
Rand was living on the street for years after returning home from being incarcerated due to his substance abuse. He moved into CAMBA Gardens I last year after being served by a homeless outreach organization. While he had spent years on the street, his positive attitude served him well: “Homelessness is what your situation is, it doesn’t have to be what your mindset is. We are homeless, not helpless.” Now that he has achieved sobriety and housing, Rand is hoping to gain full-time employment. He believes that the housing CAMBA Gardens I provides is essential to helping homeless people return to society.
