Enterprise Retains Highest Possible Designation by Charity Watchdog Groups

As a proven and powerful nonprofit, Enterprise improves communities and people’s lives by making well-designed homes affordable. One of the ways we are able to fulfill our mission is through donor support -- support we can rely on  because of our history of accountability and transparency.

Enterprise's commitment to nonprofit excellence was recently recognized by two trusted charity watchdog groups: Charity Navigator and Guidestar.

Charity Navigator 4-Star Rating

Charity Navigator has awarded Enterprise its 4-star rating. This rating is enjoyed by only one-fourth of the charities they evaluate, letting donors know that they can be confident in supporting an ethical, impactful organization.

Receiving this designation for the fourth consecutive year places Enterprise among just 11% of nonprofits nationwide. Charity Navigator President & CEO Michael Thatcher says of the designation, “Enterprise Community Partners' exceptional 4-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public.”

Guidestar Platinum Designation

Enterprise has also achieved the highest level of recognition offered by Guidestar. The Platinum Participant designation reaches beyond simplistic financial ratios to reflect the changes organizations are making in the world. This demonstrates that our organization is focused on measuring our progress and results and is committed to the highest level of transparency. This designation also places us in the top one percent of organizations ranked by Guidestar.
