This time last year, Enterprise Community Loan Fund and the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers sounded a call-to-action for the Washington, D.C. region’s community members, foundations, nonprofits and businesses: Let’s collectively invest $5 million to address our housing crisis!

We had already raised $7 million by September, so we decided to double-down on our original goal and raise $10 million by the end of 2016.

We are excited to report that we have now raised $11 million through Our Region, Your Investment, and every dollar has been invested to prevent the displacement of more than 280 families and individuals living at Fort Stevens Place, Clarendon Court, the Crest Apartments and Brookland Place.

There is much more work to be done to address our housing crisis and ensure that our region’s low-income and working families have an affordable place to live. You can still be part of the solution by making an investment that supports your community!
